There is no income limit on ACA/Obamacare plans. It's just if you have lower income, you get more help to purchase the plan (you plan will be cheaper or even $0 premium) When you have higher income, you qualify for less help and you might pay more or pay full price of the plan.

Most of the ACA/Obamacare plans have a co-pay range from $0-$50 when you go see a family doctor. it will be less than paying-out-of pocket. If you need labs or other diagnostic exams, then you will have to check to see what deductible and co-insurance you have on your plan!

Medicaid is a State Government Program for Lower Income Group. The Medicaid is usually free and you get to receive medical services for free as well. However, in Texas, for people aged between 18-65, no matter how low your income is, if you are not pregnant, taking care of kids nor disabled, motsly likely you wont be eligible for Medicaid. But Children (Under 19) and Olderly (Over 65) are eligible for Medicaid if your income is low.
